Pickin' on the Rookies -
Well when I first started playin' I wasn't good, of course. Oh, you can be good at the main game, but that ain't nuthin' compared to the real shootin' in the Zone or on Kali. I got better as I went along and quit just standin around like a scarecrow :) Then I got really good, or so I thought. I used to host rookie games and really shoot em up. But the only reason I hosted rookie games was because I couldn't play with the real dogs. Every time I tried to play with them, they would massacre me. It seemed as if I couldn't move before I was killed.
That was all thanks to my long time experience rookie games. When ya play with beginners or rookies you begin to develop bad habits, but if ya play in the normal games on the Zone or Kali, even from the beginning, you'll find that in the long run you'll be one of those big dogs.
I have to admit though, it is
pretty fun to jump in a rookie game every once in awhile and give
a good shootin'. :)
Voice Communication in games -
I've tried usin' BattleCom and RogerWilco and i found them to be choppy and slow. Also in a death match (or any other type of game) I had too much lag or I couldn't even get in to some games.
So I've been searchin' around and I fun a program called MediaRing. It was created to be used for talking to someone long distance instead of usin yer phone, but if two Outlaws players have this they can talk to each other before, during, and after games. I used it while playin' a death match, (I was talkin to CO_Hollie) and i didn't have any lag, I even won, with 5 other people in the game :)

The Oulaws Non-CD Hack - Recently I tried the Outlaws Non-CD hack, what a pain it was too. I couldn't load some of the multiplayer levels and main game levels. I also lost all of my saved games, they wouldn't load. That was all until I put in my Outlaws CD in again. So what is the point of having the hack if you have the put the CD in? lol :)
So have no fear, Lucasarts. The
hack didn't work for me. And at least I'm legal, lol.
